We are a high level restoration company and we own several Real Estate properties in Puglia (Salento) - an Italian Region - in the small pleasant town of Galatone, located between the magnificent town of Lecce (called the Florence of the South, only 15 minutes drive away) and the splendid town of Gallipoli (which literally means beautiful city). Only 5 km from the Ionian sea, 1 hour away from the Brindisi International Airport, 20 minutes away from an 18 hole golf course as well as the international Avetrana speedway, near Manduria, which itself has an excellent red wine production.

The town of Galatone has a rich production of olive oil and honey and boasts some terrific examples of Baroque architecture in the charming historical centre, outstanding ancient `trulli` buildings, millennial underground oil mills as well as some fascinating underground churches and an incontaminated beautiful coast.

Our project involves the restoration and the sale of high quality historical vacation homes to create an excellent income as a long term investment (the average return on these historical properties runs today around 10% - 11% rental income).

We have just completed the total restoration of one of our properties: the gorgeous Baroque historical Palazzo Carata-De Ferrariis (1500-1800), plus more properties, to be managed as an Albergo Diffuso (the closest way to translate it in English is: Guest House-Hotel Complex or Boutique/Charming scattered Hotel). This is a totally Italian idea and basically it involves converting the ancient ruined, but romantic historical buildings into 4/5 star vacation homes scattered in a historical centre which are then organized and managed by a centralized general reception based in one of the buildings. In our case, into the above mentioned main building which is located where the ancient town centre used to be long time ago. This is the start of our Albergo Diffuso ` La Galatea `.
